  5. This release of GestaltValue replaces all previous versions.  Prior versions incorrectly check for the presence of an (as yet unimplemented) _GestaltValue trap.  When the trap is implemented, the glue will use the trap instead.  Unfortunately, if the Threads package is installed, the glue thinks _GestaltValue is implemented and tries to call the Threads package instead.

  7. There are no changes in this release concerning glue code executing in the absence of the GestaltValue trap and the Threads package.
